What Are People Saying About Us?

He is knowledgeable and is quick to reply to any questions or requests. I highly recommend Tim and his company. The product is reliable, durable and we have had no issues. Terri Clay Jones2025-02-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We got our 3 acres fenced with the invisible fence and have no regrets. We originally tried the GPS version with a different company that proved to be unreliable and actually shocked one dog in the middle of the yard with no warning. After that experience we went with Pet Fence Canada and have had a wonderful experience. They came out and the install was fast, efficient, and professional. They’ve been available every time I’ve had questions about the system, training, and programming. It took 3 weeks of training and they’ve never tried to cross the boundary. We especially like that the collars are rechargeable and that we can control the settings on our own. We’ve made good use of the puppy training mode as one of our dogs is quite sensitive. It’s given us an immense peace of mind and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Robin Lindner2025-02-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This system really works! I have two Rotties one of which is quite challenging at times. After a couple days of training, they both respect the fence and are able to run the property freely now! We have been using them since 2015 and would recommend them to anyone living on a busy street! Dessiree Fisher2024-11-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used the Dogtra 2 Pathfinder for almost a year now. We have 7 collars to rotate between 3 dogs(will be 4 dogs again here soon) . We don't use it as much for bird dogging or other dog disciplines, we use the collars for our guardian dogs looking after the property, the cows, chickens and locking them out of the barn cats area. For this the Pathfinder system works really well. Initial set up cost is not bad compared to other collars. The big pros to take away from this system is there is no subscription, the collars stay working even if the app goes down for the Geo fence, we can lock out areas, like the canal, barn, and we gave the cats a "hunting area" that is dog free, I've trained the dogs to return to the house with the Tone button, when we're moving the herd around we take the transmitter with us and if any of the dogs get to excited we can give a "buzz" before a shock is needed and that alone smartens them up. We can see where they go at night, sometimes they will cluster around something interesting like a calf that has gotten lost and then its really easy to find when you see the dogs on the app all laying in one spot following it. The app will show you which dog is barking, super helpful if you have a loud evening dog that likes to talk to the coyotes. Give her a little buzz and you can go back to sleep. The collars are extremely well built, they've survived through major dog fights, fights with coyote packs were rugged enough to protect the dogs neck and still come out functioning, I watched our big dog rag dog a smaller dog with the collar and no real damage to the collar. Work fine in -40 and +40, even if the gps signal says its weak its not, I've never had a collar not communicate with the transmitter unless it shut itself off. Was able to train the dogs not the chase the cats. If you have barn cats for a reason you know you need them. The dogs have really gotten use to wearing and collar change time daily. The great pyranese seem to take pride in their collars, and I'll tell you at night seeing a bunch of blinking collars around around is very scary if your an intruder, it glows the dogs face up and we've seen people on our cameras come into the property, dogs will swarm their car and then they'll just hightail it out. Petfence Canada has been good to deal with, they'll get back to your emails, even swapped one of the collars for us. They'll mail them to you, I prefer to pick them up as Canada post in our area is a nuisance. Some things I didn't like about the collars. You will want a sepperate phone or tablet to use as your base for guardian dogs, working dogs use a phone (it's smaller) , which means you'll be carrying a transmitter and a phone on you when you go out + your regular phone. If you need to correct a dog and your not at the base station you'll need to travel to the station to then use the app as they have to stay within Bluetooth range of each other. Setting up the app to not bother you every time a gps signal becomes "weak" is annoying, but you can get rid of the alerts, the app will send warnings for tons of things like the dog is treeing ( again a discipline we don't use) dog is pointing (not my dog lol) and more alarms or activity notifications, I turned them all off but it took me a few days to figure that all out. Out of 7 collars we have had 1 returned and replaced under warranty for randomly shutting off ( however I think this is a software bug with their system as we have other collars that will do that, and 1 returned for "wandering" and shocking the dog inappropriately, have a video of the collar sitting in the porch but the app saying it's walking around far away. weve locked them into about a 200 acre area. The collars randomly shutting off is really annoying, however after a year if we put the collar on the dogs, they do not test it for a day or so before they'll leave the boundaries. This was much longer but google won't let me post this long of a review. Trent Modrall2024-11-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot say enough good things about this dog door ! After wasting so much money on other types/brands and one very expensive surgery with one of my dogs eating parts of an old flap style door I thought I would give plexidor a try. And I’m so glad I did, It’s very well made. Great for Canadian winters, There customer service and support team is top notch. The door installs easy. And so durable. Well worth it. I previously spent over $3,000 on a GPS dog collar that was supposed to keep my husky within my 180-acre property, but it was a total disappointment. The $3,000 collar didn’t have any kind of tracking system — it would just beep and shock him, which didn’t really help in the long run. My husky would still wander off, and I couldn’t figure out where he was. Then I found Pet Fence Canada, and their GPS E-Fence collar has been a game changer! Now, my husky responds perfectly to the vibration, listens on command, and I feel confident knowing that he won’t wander too far. The collar also works great when we go to the park; no matter where we are, he respects the boundaries. What I love most is that the tracking system is super accurate, so even if my husky does stray, I know exactly where he is in real-time. As someone who loves the outdoors and needs to let my dog run freely, it's such a relief to have a product that actually works as promised. I’ve recommended Pet Fence Canada to all my friends, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and reliability of the collar. If you want peace of mind and a collar that really works, I highly recommend this one! Margaret Moher2024-11-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been a pet fence user for Over 10 years now. We’ve had two dogs go through the training and it usually doesn’t take very long for them to learn the puppy we have now is in training mode and is doing quite well. The people at Pet fence are very friendly and customer service is great. Carolyn Archibald2024-11-04Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired Pet fence Canada for our invisible fence installation in 2013, and the experience was exceptional. So we sold the house and got another system in 2018. Very professional. The system has been reliable, allowing our pets to roam freely without worry. We appreciate the ongoing support and the quality of the product. I highly recommend Pet fence Canada for anyone seeking a safe and effective pet containment solution. Thank you for your outstanding service! Danielle Morency2024-10-04
